Located on Nathan Road is the St Laurence’s College Sporting Fields which features a number of sporting fields for various different sports.

For people using the facility recreationally, Rackley Swimming Runcorn has a Splash Park for kids. There is also a heated 25 metre outdoor pool. They also have a café within the facility for when you are in need of a break to re-energise or for the parents to enjoy a coffee while they wait for their kids to finish their lesson. Their facilities are also available to hire for birthday parties and functions. They are open seven days a week and also have wheelchair access. It is the perfect spot, especially during the warmer months, for a fun day out with family and friends. It is a spot that is loved by Runcorn residents.

The club welcomes people of all ages and of all skill levels, whether they are joining for fun or to compete. They hold competitions for the members wanting to compete as well as send teams to competitions held at other clubs across Queensland. Runcorn residents love this Horse and Pony Club as it provides a little bit of the country in suburbia.

They do offer some other Japanese dishes but their sushi is definitely their main attraction. Another popular restaurant is also a Japanese restaurant, however, they focus more on ramen dishes. Genkotsu Ramen is located in Runcorn Plaza along Warrigal Road. Also located in Runcorn Plaza is a restaurant called Little Lamb Hot Pot which specialises in Chinese hot pots. While, generally, a bit more expensive, it is definitely worth it. Who knew you could pack so much flavour into a single dish. There are a number of other restaurants scattered all around Runcorn that each showcase a different cuisine including Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Thai, Taiwanese and more. There are also the usual cafes and takeaway restaurants.
